Why Graham Started GTT
Graham spent years working for someone else. Good money, steady hours, but not the life he wanted.
"Need to give it a go. Get away from working for someone."
That's not bravado. It's a straightforward decision that plenty of people think about but most never act on. Graham acted on it.
The bigger motivation is his boys. As they get older, he wants to be around, properly around, not just back in time for bedtime. Working for yourself means the days are yours to organise. If a slow afternoon turns into a school run, a bike ride, or a long drive somewhere with one of the kids in the passenger seat learning the roads, that's possible in a way that a salaried job never allows.
"Can always take one of the boys with me on a road trip doing this as they get older. Can't spend time like that if working for someone else."
GTT is the vehicle (if you'll forgive the expression) for all of that. A business he built, that he runs, that works around his family.
