What We Buy

If your vehicle is no longer worth repairing or is simply at the end of its useful life, we'll take it. This includes:

  • MOT failures where the repair cost outweighs the car's value
  • Accident damage — write-offs, crumpled bodywork, vehicles declared beyond economical repair
  • Fire and flood damage — we collect vehicles in any condition
  • Non-runners — won't start, seized engine, failed gearbox
  • High-mileage vehicles with too many problems stacking up
  • Old vehicles sitting unused on your drive that you simply want gone

You don't need to get it roadworthy or clean it out beforehand. We take it as it sits.

How the Process Works

Step 1: Ring us with the details. Call 07456 534488 and tell us the make, model, year, and condition of the vehicle. We'll ask a few straightforward questions — whether it runs, where it's located, whether it has a current MOT.

Step 2: We give you a quote over the phone. No obligation. The price is based on vehicle weight, condition, and current scrap metal rates. We'll give you a number before we arrange anything.

Step 3: We collect from your address. Once you accept the quote, we arrange a collection time that suits you. We come to your driveway, your car park, or wherever the vehicle is. No need to move it or sort transport.

Step 4: We handle the DVLA notification. When a vehicle is scrapped, the DVLA needs to know. We take care of that process so you're no longer liable for the vehicle once it's collected.

Pricing: What Determines Your Quote

Scrap metal prices fluctuate with the market, so we don't publish a fixed rate. What affects your quote:

  • Vehicle weight — heavier vehicles are worth more in scrap
  • Condition — whether parts are intact or whether the vehicle has been stripped
  • Current scrap rates — metal commodity prices change week to week

We pay cash. There are no deductions for collection within our standard coverage area.

Responsible Disposal Through Licensed ATFs

Every vehicle we scrap is processed through an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) licensed by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. Fluids are drained and disposed of properly, hazardous materials are handled correctly, and the vehicle is recorded as scrapped on the DVLA register.

You'll receive a Certificate of Destruction, which confirms the vehicle has been legally disposed of and removes it from your name.

We Cover All of Fife

We collect scrap vehicles from Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Lochgelly, Kelty, Burntisland, and surrounding areas as standard. We also cover Edinburgh, including dedicated Edinburgh scrap car collection.

For areas outside Fife, ring us and we'll confirm coverage.
